Your body tells a story. My hands listen.
Every treatment begins by listening-not just to where it hurts, but to what your body is trying to communicate.
Karen believes there is no such thing as a routine massage. Each visit is unique because your body changes from day to day. How you slept, how you worked, an injury, stress, illness or simply the demands of everday life all influence how your body feels today. What your body needed last month - or even last week - may not be what it needs today.

Meet Karen Woods
I've been a licensed massage therapist for 35 years, and after all these years, I still love what I do.
What continues to inspire me is that every client teaches me something new. No two people arrive with the same story, and helping someone move with less pain, breathe more freely, or finally relax their jaw is a privilege I never take for granted.
Over the years, my practice has naturally evolved to include Therapeutic Facial Restoration, TMJ therapy, buccal massage, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage and geriatric massage. Rather than following a routine, I bring together the techniques that best fit the person in front of me.
Whether this is your first visit or your fiftieth, my hope is that you'll feel heard, cared for, and leave feeling better than when you arrived.
I look forward to meeting you.

For 35 years, Karen Woods has been helping people move with less pain, greater comfort, and renewed confidence in their bodies.
A graduate of the Downeast School of Massage in Maine, Karen has practiced in chiropractic offices, spas, and private practice, giving her experience with clients from all walks of life. She later became a continuing education instructor, teaching geriatric massage techniques to massage therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Karen believes there is no such thing as a routine massage because not two people are ever the same.
Every person who walks through the door bings a different story. How you slept, how you worked, what you carried, an injury, stress, illness or simply the demands of everyday life all influence how your body feels today. What you needed last month-or even last week-may not be what it needs today.
That philosophy guides every session. Karen begins by listening, assessing how your body presents that day, and creating a treatment designed specifically for you.
Her goal is simple: help you move more comfortably, reduce pain and tension, and leave each session feeling heard, understood, and better than when you arrived.
Every body has a story. Every treatment begins by listening.
